This fresh new fragrance, created by perfumer Quentin Bisch, reveals a vigorous saline accord enhanced with intense masculine notes. Composed of 95% ingredients of natural origin and 100% French alcohol of natural origin, Eau de Toilette Le Sel d'Issey is a certified vegan perfume. The perfume embodies an infinite movement, expressed by two olfactory polarities. The polarity of salt, which represents the sea, is composed of a lively salt accord combining seaweed and natural oakmoss, a type of algae that has migrated from water to land. Embodying a constant flow, it represents the eternal link between sea and land and connects the two polarities of perfume. The earth polarity is infused with intense woody notes that bring density and texture to the fragrance. Natural sandy vetiver is blended with recycled natural cedar wood, an ingredient distilled from secondary dust used in furniture manufacturing. Top notes of effervescent natural ginger enhance the freshness of the salty accord. The interplay between salty and woody polarities infuses the fragrance with dynamic energy, for a powerful and fresh intensity. A perfume bottle inspired by salt. For Le Sel d'Issey, internationally renowned Japanese designer Tokujin Yoshioka has created a bottle with a pure and clean aesthetic, embodying the brilliance of light and the energy of salt. Made from 20% recycled glass, the transparency of the bottle reveals the light grey colour of the perfume inside, echoing the salt at the heart of the fragrance. Encapsulated in the base, a transparent hemisphere conveys a powerful masculinity. Inspired by salt, the light gray of the outer packaging combines the fragrance with the purity of its natural tone. For the first time, the box contains 10% naturally-derived recycled seaweed, as well as materials from FSC™ certified managed forests and other controlled sources.
