To create the shade of yellow for Yellow Dream Donna, Pierpaolo Piccioli revisited the yellow of Rome’s past, redefining this traditional colour with his own twist. The creative director of Maison Valentino redefines Valentino yellow in a more modern, more carefree, but still warm and welcoming shade, a shade for now. COLOR OUTPUT The top note Color is dominated by a delicious Italian Primo Fiore lemon, which means that it is the fruit of the first flowering of the Italian Femminello variety. The rarity of this highly sought-after Primo Fiore makes it one of the most expensive on the market. OUR COUTURE HEART Our couture heart, Damask Rose Essence, is steeped in history and has been known as a delicacy in the perfume world for over 3000 years, originally as "Damask Rose". Harvesting rose petals is a family practice. Every morning for several weeks, the roses are picked and transported in bags to local factories to be distilled. COOL BOTTOM Our base is a real point of differentiation that brings something unexpected to this fragrance, the first time this accord has been used in a perfume. The addictive nature of the accord has allowed perfumers to create a powerful new player in the women's market that breaks with the Cypriot/gourmet norm. The clean accord was created by the perfumer to evoke the notion of a pure "clean" note.
